Medicare Part B Premium and Deductible for 2027: What Is Known So Far

Published

Figures here are for general information. Wages, amounts and dates can change or differ from the official values. Always confirm them with the official state or federal agency before you rely on them.

Medicare Part B covers doctor visits and outpatient care. You pay a monthly premium and a yearly deductible. As of November 5, 2026, we could not find an official 2027 premium or deductible on cms.gov or medicare.gov. This page shows what is officially known. We will update it when the numbers come out.

The official 2026 amounts

Medicare.gov lists these Part B costs for 2026:

Part B cost 2026 amount
Standard monthly premium $202.90
Yearly deductible $283

Some people pay a higher premium based on their income. The 2027 amounts have not been announced, so we are not listing any.

When CMS announces the new amounts

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) publishes the next year’s Part B premium and deductible in a fact sheet. For 2025, CMS released its fact sheet on November 8, 2024. It set the 2025 premium at $185.00 and the deductible at $257.

So the announcement has come in the fall before. We did not find the 2027 version on the CMS site as of today.

Why we are not guessing

CMS does publish some other 2027 figures. One example is the 2027 Medicare Advantage rate announcement. That document covers payments to health plans. It is not the Part B premium or deductible you pay. We do not use it to estimate your 2027 costs.
